Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a charming homely feel and is walking distance to a local pub. While the rooms lack modern standards and accessibility, the staff is attentive and genuine. Despite the noisy surroundings, the European continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
My stay at St Mounts Boutique Hotel was made special by the attention to detail with offerings of port and chocolates. The room, although a bit dark at the back of the hotel, was cozy without a wardrobe, but a bathroom shelf would have been handy. The warmth of the staff truly elevated the experience, especially with their helpfulness in accommodating our plans. The location, despite being noisy due to passing trucks, was picturesque and captivating, close to the village of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains.
I had the most unique experience at this hotel. The rooms were cancelled even though I hadn't cancelled them through Booking but were surprisingly clean and spacious, decorated in a very eclectic fashion. The ceilings were incredibly ornate and added a touch of elegance to the space. The service was exceptional with warm, welcoming, and friendly staff, and they even provided earplugs due to the heavy machinery parked around the hotel. The location was superb, within a thin four poster bed frame without lace drawstring curtains, and walking distance to a local pub. The dining experience was wonderful, offering a substantial meal before setting out each day, with mouth-watering dishes that left me looking forward to my next stay.
